Thank you to everyone for sharing with me your concerns about the proposed relocation of the Banstead crew and engine to Godstone. Like you, I am concerned about the increase in average response time to critical incidents in the north of the Borough and would prefer that a more suitable alternative location is found for the crew and engine closer than Godstone. I have therefore written to the Chief Fire Officer accordingly.
