Following the 2024 General Election, a record 264 women MPs now sit in the House of Commons. This marks a landmark moment: 40% of seats in the Commons held by women. The highest representation ever.
To celebrate this, The Royal Photographic Society launched The 40% Project to capture images of female MP's by female photographers.
A selection of the portraits will be exhibited later this year.

I want to thank Clare Park, the amazingly talented local photographer, for taking the time to get this shot.
